A great benefit of the Au Pair in America program is the fact that you can study!  It is a visa regulation that you study for approximately three hours a week during term time, and you will receive an allowance of up to $500 from your host family to cover your course fees.

You decide which course you want to study.  Your host family and community counselor will help you to register at your local college and choose the right course.  Apart from looking good on your CV, college is the perfect place to meet new American friends of your own age and experience a different side of American life.
